I imagine this is going to sound oh! so basic but it needs to be said.

You need to organise your folder, preferable from day 1 of Term 1 but it’s never too late. And it’s simple:

4 sections -

  • Area of Study including assessment tasks at the back of the section.
  • Module A including assessment tasks at the back of the section.
  • Module B etc
  • Module C etc.

In each section place the notes you get first on top to last on the bottom – in order. Where you have to collect related material have a separate sub-section for it. Put you Assessment Tasks at the back with all the feedback sheets etc. These are study materials too. Not something to scrunch up and throw away. Something, instead, to be studied to see how you can improve.

With the notes you take in class, I suggest you leave the left side of the page blank so that you can add notes as the year goes on and new ideas come to you as you study.
