Homework vs Study May 14, 2008

Homework and study are not the same thing.
Homework is the completion of tasks started in class or doing something set by your teacher for the next lesson.
Study is working on:
- class essays requiring preparation
- Assessment tasks
- note making; organisation of notes and summaries of notes
- research
- Study takes time and focus and committment.
That’s why you need a study timetable to organise your time efectively for all subjects – the ones you like and the ones you don’t like deserve equal time.
Don’t avoid a subject because you don’t like it. It will only get harder.
Don’t focus on your favourite subjects because everything else will suffer.
